If cardio was going to fix your gut - it would have by now.
Here's the truth most fat-loss content will never tell you.
The cardio that leaned you out in your 30s doesn't touch the gut now.
Every fat-loss workout that hammers you into a puddle leaves you weaker, hungrier, and softer than when you started.
You're not lazy.
You're not undisciplined.
You're not soft around the middle because you lack willpower.
The system got rigged against you the moment the gut got past a certain size.
Because belly fat produces aromatase - an enzyme that converts your testosterone into estrogen.
Less testosterone means less muscle.
Less muscle means slower metabolism.
Slower metabolism means website more fat storage.
More fat storage means more aromatase.
Round and round.
The fix isn't more cardio.
The fix is the opposite.
Get stronger.
Build the Type 2x muscle fibers - the big, fast, expensive ones we lose at roughly 10 percent per year after 40 if we don't fight for them.
Lift heavy enough and explosively enough that your body has no choice but to spend energy - during the session and after, while you're on the couch watching Die Hard for the 47th time.
That's how you break the loop.
Not by training fat-loss style.
By training strength style.
